Alfas del Pi is situated just north of the popular resort of Benidorm on the Spanish Costa Blanca. Alfas del Pi, sometimes known as 'Alfaz'
was originally a fortified town on the fromtier of battles between Moors and Christians.Known originally for its almonds and fruit orchards Alfas, literally means, 'sown land'.
Closely associated with Albir, its neigbour on the coast, Alfas del Pi and Albir make up a hugely popular holiday destination. The beach-front stretches along the coast to Altea, an old Spanish town with narrow streets and a 12 Century church atop the hillside.
